Al Voth
I never would have expected to read, much less enjoy, a book based on the topic of guns. But these two books were impossible to put down and I am very impatiently awaiting a continuation of Nathan Burdett's saga. The synopsis of the book is what first drew me to the story - Mr. Voth's writing and characterizations are what led me to devour the first book and anxiously await the second... I don't know what to do about having to wait longer yet for the third....!!

Action pistol shooting in all it's forms is an international sport, and this is an international thriller based on that type of competition. It is the story of Nathan Burdett, a young man with an amazing ability as a competititve pistol shooter. His talent and drive to win, attract the attention of a stranger who offers him entry into a contest that seems like a dream come true; an event that will test his speed and accuracy against the best in the world. It proves, however, to be an encounter that will take him deeper into the world of the gun than he has ever been, where the entry fee is courage, the goal is survival, and he becomes the prize. |
