Jack Higgins       Jack Higgins is, in actuality, Harry Patterson.  Jack Higgins is one of Mr. Patterson's many pseudonyms; certainly it is the best known. The first of Higgin's books that I read was 'Sheba', but my first exposure to him was the movie 'The Eagle Has Landed', when it was released in movie theatres.  Even then I enjoyed the story-telling abilities of this marvellously versatile and very prolific author.   Writing now, dare I say exclusively?, under the name Jack Higgins, Mr. Patterson wrote many books under his own name, Harry Patterson, as well as under the following pen-names: Martin Fallon James Graham Hugh Marlowe   I have compiled Jack Higgins' books by various classifications; so far they are: ~ Year ~ Character ~ Author pseudonym ~ Updated April 4, 2004 Back | List
