Barry Eisler
I picked up the first book, Rain Fall, because it looked interesting...then the description on the back further intrigued me. The protaganist is John Rain, an Assassin beyond compare. But Eisler makes him a man of morals and honour and I couldn't help but be drawn further into Rain's story.... I eagerly awaited the second book, Hard Rain, and was not disappointed. I have just finished the third book Rain Storm which was completely captivating. There are more layers revealed about Rain, the supporting characters are very well-drawn, and I find myself eagerly awaiting Killing Rain. I definitely can't get enough!
