Christopher Brookmyre

     I stumbled upon
Christopher Brookmyre at the book store I spend a LOT of time and money at; they had an awesome sale ~ 5 books for $5 so of course I couldn't resist.    One of the books that I got was Brookmyre's
One Fine Day in the Middle of the Night. Once I began reading I could not stop ~ reading or laughing...! Well, yeah, there were some spots where I wasn't laughing, but the overall impression of the book was wacky, laugh-out-loud skewed humour.... I liken Brookmyre to Carl Hiaasen, another favourite of mine. I admit, I've got a weird sense of humour and I love the absurdity that this author brings out in his characters and plot lines... You've got to try a Brookmyre ~ if you're like me, then you'll love him too!

Titles in italics are titles that I want; I prefer TPB / SC.
